1. No returns, refunds, exchanges or cancellations
Every Willstein Beer Stein is made to order and begins production as soon as your order is placed. For that reason we do not accept returns, do not issue refunds, do not offer exchanges, and cannot cancel or modify an order once it has been submitted. This includes, without limitation, orders placed by mistake, duplicate orders, change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect quantity, and dissatisfaction with size, weight, color, finish or any other characteristic that is described on this site.
2. Items damaged in transit
If your stein arrives broken or materially defective, email hello@willsteinbeerstein.com within 7 calendar days of the carrier's recorded delivery date. Include your order number and clear photographs of the damage, the packaging and the shipping label. Claims received after 7 days, or without photographs, will not be honored.
Valid claims are resolved, at our sole discretion, by shipping a replacement of the same item at no charge. A replacement is your sole and exclusive remedy. We do not issue cash refunds, partial refunds or store credit for damaged items. We may ask that the damaged item or packaging be retained for carrier inspection; disposing of it before we confirm the claim may void the claim.
3. Product variations
Each stein is a molded plastic product with a printed design. Minor variations in clarity, dimple pattern, print placement, print alignment (up to about ¼ inch), color, weight and dimensions are inherent to the manufacturing and printing process and are not defects. Colors shown on screens vary by device and are not a guarantee of exact appearance. Capacity, dimensions and weight stated on this site are approximate.
4. Care and misuse
The stein is intended for cold beverages. It is not for use with hot liquids or in a microwave, oven, freezer, dishwasher heated-dry cycle or near open flame. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the printed design. Damage caused by misuse, accident, normal wear, abrasive cleaning, solvents or failure to follow care instructions is not covered under any circumstances.
5. Pre-orders and availability
Where an item is offered for pre-order, the shipping estimate provided is an estimate only. Delays in production or fulfillment do not entitle you to a cancellation or refund. If we are unable to fulfill an order at all, our only obligation is to refund the amount paid for that order.
6. Chargebacks
By purchasing, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue. Chargebacks or payment disputes filed for reasons covered by this policy (including change of mind or a damage claim submitted outside the window above) will be contested with the payment processor using the terms of this policy, your order records, and tracking and delivery confirmation.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in Section 2, the product is provided "as is" and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for personal injury or property damage arising from use or misuse of the product.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by contract. Where such law conflicts with this policy, this policy applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
11. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. The version in effect when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
